Anyways, I’m driving Student to Richmond so that she can get her Green Card today. This is something I’ve never done before, so huzzah for new experiences all ’round. Don’t worry. I plan on wielding my fun book with the foil font at the first sign of bureaucracy.

And S Andrew Swann writes some pretty good space opera. he’s got a whole bunch of interconnected series, but you can start at the beginning of any of them (kinda like what Robin Hobb does) and have a blast.
