But! But! The game show and the movie were based on the novel Q & A by Vikas Swarup. I read and enjoyed that very much. What a sad/happy/sad novel. The movie was totally fab, too. That was the first time I’d experienced enjoying a movie and then wanting to go read the book because I liked the movie.
