I’m not sure what has happened but ever since school started back up I’ve gone a little crazy with recording audio. But not music. Podcasts and stories and such.
I told you about that steampunk short story of mine that I recorded. Maybe next week I’ll put it up here as a free download. Why not? That’ll be fun.
But then I started a podcast will my pal Mikey Mason. Pros And Cons just put out episode 3 talking about geek music and convention culture. It’s a thing and it feels good.
But I also do a secret bonus segment thing. On the podcast DC-Geeks, I contribute a monthly segment called Jonah’s Music Corner where I talk up a geek musician and play one of their songs. My second segment appeared on this week’s show.
So I’m not sure what happened. I was doing none of this and now I’m doing lots of it. That’s the way it happens, right?
…and you still take time for Dorkcargo, thanks!
How about adding narrating fiction for the audio magazines, too? StarShip Sofa and Tales to Terrify were looking for narrators during the summer. Amy Sturgis does that, she does it well and enjoys it. You’d be brilliant.
A download of your short story would be awesome. Nag. Nag.
Thanks for the link to DC Geeks, I was having trouble (user error, I’m sure) finding the podcast, and then your segments within the podcast.
I also look forward to the possibility of a Jonah short story…. but no pressure.
